One week ago T got his license. This past Sunday he did his first “solo” drive back and forth to work (he’s logged about 50 hours in driving with Mike and Me, however and has taken a 50 hour driving course). Tonight he’s driving solo back and forth to open basketball at church. [...]

I went to this exhibit when it came through town a few months ago. It was both moving and, frankly chilling, seeing pairs of boots lined up, some with personal affects, letters, photographs attached to them from the families of the fallen.
